1. Male affirmative action is being used at Canadian medical schools, now that some  entering classes of medical students are only 23% male.

Affirmative action for males? Can we please just make decisions based on merit now?

Further evidence that those who insist more computers/technology in the classroom will improve the learning process have no idea what they're talking about. Computers in the classroom are 90% distraction. This coming from a recent college grad and current grad student.

4. What do the best classrooms in the world look like?


Any of the ones you find in the United States of America. Yesterday and today. Not the robotically uncreative ones that Slate links to.

But if all one wants is to demonize the US, this is an article that will do just that. Flawed studies designed to put the US lower, and all that.
